Marine World opened
Marine World closed. It reopened in Vallejo and is known as Six Flags Discovery Kingdom today. "Marine World Parkway" -->"Marine Parkway".
Around 7,000 residents. Sandpiper Elementary School and Marketplace Shopping Center opened.
